Happy Sunday, everyone. I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Here is a little peek into what I wore to church today. I am sad that it is over but am happy it is only a 4 day work week :)

Here is my plan for the upcoming week:
Monday: 3 miles
Tuesday: BodyPump
Wednesday: 3 miles
Thursday: BodyPump
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: 14 miles
Sunday: Rest Day/Yoga

I am going into some uncharted territory this week  in my marathon training. I have never ran more than 13.1 miles and this week I am supposed to go 14. That kinda scares me but excites me at the same time.

4 miles done. It felt really strong during this run. 

I actually thought about going longer. Then I thought I should be smart about it and not push myself too much. So I stopped at 4.

Wednesday Night Check-In

So the week is almost halfway over. I thought that would be a perfect time to update you with a list of what is going on in my head/life.

  • I have gotten all my workouts in so far for the week. This includes two great early morning runs and a session of BodyPump.
  • I think my body is finally getting used to get up at 4:45 for the workouts. But come 9:00 pm I am wiped for the night! I have learned that there is no reason to fight my body. :] 
  • My body is really thankful that I do not have a long run this week.
  • I am a baby when it comes to the heat. It is only the end of June and I am already ready for September. I just like to be able to do things outside and this heat makes it hard. 
  • We are currently deciding what to do for the 4th of July. We both only have that day off which is kind of a bummer. We are leaning towards heading towards the state park for the day to go for a hiking along the cliffs. I am currently scoping out nearby areas to see if there are any towns nearby doing fireworks on the 3rd. So I can get my body that it sleeps it needs on a work day. 
  • We are toying with the idea of selling our home but the market is horrible. Although it would be pretty sweet to be closer to the city. Hopefully it will work out for us.

Speaking of which it is almost time for bed. Night all!

What do you think of the shirt?

As I mentioned before in early June I am running an adventure race with my mom and sister. We did this race last year and it was a blast! This year we decided we wanted T Shirts. 

So I designed these. Our team name is The Dirty Divas and the name of the Race is Go Commando. We also have our last names on the back. They are 100% cotton which I am completely fine with and they will only be $20 each. Not too shabby :)

I can’t wait until these babies get here!

Tuesday Night and an NSV

  • So I go into work today like my boss asked and none of the kids showed up (I work at a Day Care.) So I drove to work for nothing. But my boss had me do some cleaning and what not so at least I made some money out of the deal.
  • I slept horrible last night because some kids thought it would be a good to shoot off fireworks next to our house til 1 am. We live at the end of a partially developed subdivision. I felt like I literally had to peel myself out of bed. Ugh.
  • I was so ready to give up my workout tonight and move it to another night because I was beat but I ate supper and it is amazing how food gives me energy ;]
  • So I set out for my 3 mile run on the mill.
  • And for my NSV my pace was 9.44! I have never gotten my pace under 10 minute miles. One of my big goals! Now I need to get my pace up outside.
  • My intake for the day was 1717.

It turned out to be a good day even though it started pretty bad! On to Wednesday :]

Wednesday Wednesday.

I am horrible at thinking up titles.

I had a pretty good day. After my little freak out this morning. Sometimes I need a little reassuring that I am doing this correctly and you guys really know your stuff :] So much better than Mr. T (the hubby)!

After work tonight I did a 20 minute Yoga Session and I ran 2.0 miles outside. I burned 346 Calories today and I ate 1892. I believe this is right on track.

So with all this running outside I really need to get some Pepper Spray or something of that sort. During my run tonight I was beginning to freak myself out with everything that “could” happen and there I was with no Pepper Spray or Phone. With every sound I was on edge. That is the last time I will do that.

Done.

I completed my 2 mile run and my yoga tonight. I just was not feeling it but I completed it and I feel so much better.

My net calories for the day were 1450 not quite what I was hoping for but I am getting better and it will continue to get better.

I did pretty good. Yesterday. I did my Yoga but my calories only netted 1450. I am gonna try to get them higher today.
A 2 mile run plus some Yoga on tap for tonight.
