Its What I Eat

I know I find it interesting to see what other people eat throughout the day. So I thought I would show you guys what I eat. It is not very exciting. I eat pretty much the same thing every day for breakfast and lunch. I have not changed those meals up in almost 2 years since I started this journey. I still enjoy it for the most part and I know it works for me.

So here it is:

For breakfast I have Oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of Peanut Butter and just a little bit of milk. Since I have started waking up super early to work out I have started to drink coffee. I put three mini cup things of creamer with three packets of Equal. I usually have banana for morning snack but this morning I went with fresh pineapple.

Then for lunch I have a sandwich with a “stacker” pickle. The pickle is very important! ;] I also have a hard boiled egg, Greek yogurt and sometimes I throw out a Fiber One brownie, if we have one in the house.

For my afternoon snack. I usually have a protein bar. Luna bars are my favorite but if I cannot get those I also like the Nature Valley bars. For Supper it is very rarely the same. Tonight the hubs cooked the Supper. We had a side salad, rice, corn and grilled chicken. It was pretty yummy. But it always tastes better when someone else cooks :]

So that is what I eat during the week. The weekends are a whole another animal!

Tuesday Schmosday.

It went pretty well today. I worked at the Day Care and those 11 hour shifts really wear me out!

As I was at work today I was thinking about doing my workout tonight. I began to look forward to it. For the first time working out has turned into a hobby. It is no longer something I do to get in shape. I do it because I like to do. Are there still going be days that I dread it? Sure. Are there going be days that I procrastinate it like no ones business? Sure there is. But that does not mean that I do not enjoy it most days and the number of days I dread it are becoming less and less. This is a good feeling.

I just finished my Yoga. So I burned 167 calories doing that and I ate a total of 1627.

Pretty good. 

I ate right where I should be but I still felt like I ate to much and I was beginning to feel guilty. In all reality I could have eaten more and it would not have been bad at all. I need to have a healthy relationship with food. I will get there with time.
