It went pretty well today. I worked at the Day Care and those 11 hour shifts really wear me out!
As I was at work today I was thinking about doing my workout tonight. I began to look forward to it. For the first time working out has turned into a hobby. It is no longer something I do to get in shape. I do it because I like to do. Are there still going be days that I dread it? Sure. Are there going be days that I procrastinate it like no ones business? Sure there is. But that does not mean that I do not enjoy it most days and the number of days I dread it are becoming less and less. This is a good feeling.
I just finished my Yoga. So I burned 167 calories doing that and I ate a total of 1627.
I ate right where I should be but I still felt like I ate to much and I was beginning to feel guilty. In all reality I could have eaten more and it would not have been bad at all. I need to have a healthy relationship with food. I will get there with time.
I am thrilled that Monday is over!
I was ready to give up on my run tonight and just do some Yoga and run tomorrow. You see our treadmill is in our basement and my brother-in-law is staying with us. His “room” is in our basement right next to the treadmill. He happened to take a 2 hour nap tonight and I did not want to run outside because it was super windy.
Then I saw this girl running around our neighbor she looked to be in Middle School. So I told myself if she could handle it so could I. And off I went…
The wind was tough to battle at times but I did 2.5 miles in 26.30. So I had an 10.36 pace. Pretty good but I am more proud that I went out there and did it. :]
I also did pretty good in the eating department today. Can I just say I am feeling so much better now that I have upped my calories to where they should be.
All in all it was a good Monday in the Fitblr area. Hopefully the week will continue like this.
