Hi All.
Sorry about no posting yesterday. I worked from 6:30 to 5:30 and then CPR from 6:00 to 10:00. Needless to say I was dog tired. That was also the reason why I had to yesterday as a rest day otherwise I would of done Yoga. Anywho, I survived and the day is over :]
I just finished 3 miles on the treadmill. I would like to have done it outside but I do not like to run in the heat. Ugh. It was a good run. It had been a week since I got a “run” in (I did not really run the 5k because it was a group thing) So I was curious to see how tonight would go and I am happy to say it went well.
My intake is staying on track. So I am happy about that.

The scale is moving but very slowly. But I am starting to really like what my body looks like that is more important to me than anything.

I wanted to do it outside but it was storming and I really feel the need to have some sort of Pepper Spray for my long runs. So I hit the treadmill.
It was actually pretty good. I set out to do 4.0 miles my longest distance ever. I completed it and went 4.25 miles. I always feel the need to go a bit further than my goal. I do not know why but I do. Anyway the run was pretty uneventful and an all around good run.
I have a crazy week next week so I need to figure out how I am going to fit all my training runs in.
I believe my average pace was 10.46 in about 46ish minutes. It is crazy that I can run that long without stopping. :]

So I set out to do my 3.5 mile run outside today. I was a little hesitant because the treadmill has been my happy place. It has always been easier because I do not have to worry about the weather or other people. Anyway, I set to go outside because the 10k is outside and I need to get used to the elements.
I took it slow because I knew it would be better that way. I did not want to get too tired too fast. I mapped my run but it did not matter because I took a wrong turn but I just ran and once I hit half-way I turned around. It worked out really good for me.
I had an amazing run! I felt great the whole time. I defintely want to spend more time running outside. I want to do all my long runs out there. I actually ended up going 3.75 miles and I think I could of went further. I believe my pace was 11.16. I want to work on my pace but I believe it will come the more I run. Here are the digits:

I have complete runners high. I totally I believe I can do this 10k in July.

I have met my goals for the day. My net calories for the day were 1694. I feel so much better when my intake is right around here. The best part is they were healthy calories. :]
I also did 2.5 miles on the treadmill because it is still a million degrees outside. ugh.
