I had a pretty uneventful day but that can be a good thing. I did not get my 2 mile run in but I did my Yoga and went for 1.25 mile with my man.
I thought it was about time to try something different for breakfast after eating the same thing for the past 6 months. So I got some Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. They were good but they did not keep me full like my oatmeal and peanut butter does. Not to mention the oatmeal is better for me. So I will probably finish off the sandwiches but I will not buy them again. I think I will try some Kashi cereal next time and see if that will do the trick. I just need something to switch it up.
I did not bring enough food to work today so I started to eat out of the candy drawer to stop the hunger pains. I will plan better tomorrow. I need to remember to pack more. It is always better to have more than enough healthy food then to go over to the vending machine.

Sorry about no posting yesterday. I worked from 6:30 to 5:30 and then CPR from 6:00 to 10:00. Needless to say I was dog tired. That was also the reason why I had to yesterday as a rest day otherwise I would of done Yoga. Anywho, I survived and the day is over :]
I just finished 3 miles on the treadmill. I would like to have done it outside but I do not like to run in the heat. Ugh. It was a good run. It had been a week since I got a “run” in (I did not really run the 5k because it was a group thing) So I was curious to see how tonight would go and I am happy to say it went well.
My intake is staying on track. So I am happy about that.
The scale is moving but very slowly. But I am starting to really like what my body looks like that is more important to me than anything.
1. I just finished a pretty good run. I did 4.0 miles in 40.47. That is a 10:13 pace. My best ever :] I like the fact that I am getting faster. It felt good tonight!
2. It looks like I can do my long runs on days besides Saturday. I was wondering how it would go tonight and it was just fine.
3. My intake is at 1790. I am getting a lot better at eating all the calories my body needs.
4. Only 3 more days til the Go Commando 5k. I still need to figure out what I should wear for this thing.
5.The weather for the Race is calling for 75 and partly cloudy. It does not get much better than that.
Yoga Meltdown Down. It was hard but good.
I am finally getting used to upping my calories and feeling like it is okay. My body needs calories. It is hard though when tons of diet peoples say to eat 1200 calories and I will lose weight. Well they are wrong and do not know my body.
Thanks everyone for commenting on my last post. I know it is probably just my period. But I was freaking out a bit because I was not eating my BMR so I have been tryng to up my intake for a couple of weeks. Then I saw a jump in the numbers. So it worried me but I know I am doing the right thing.
It is probably just my body adjusting to the change and my period. Alright. I am better now.
It went pretty well today. I worked at the Day Care and those 11 hour shifts really wear me out!
As I was at work today I was thinking about doing my workout tonight. I began to look forward to it. For the first time working out has turned into a hobby. It is no longer something I do to get in shape. I do it because I like to do. Are there still going be days that I dread it? Sure. Are there going be days that I procrastinate it like no ones business? Sure there is. But that does not mean that I do not enjoy it most days and the number of days I dread it are becoming less and less. This is a good feeling.
I just finished my Yoga. So I burned 167 calories doing that and I ate a total of 1627.
I ate right where I should be but I still felt like I ate to much and I was beginning to feel guilty. In all reality I could have eaten more and it would not have been bad at all. I need to have a healthy relationship with food. I will get there with time.
We had a good relaxing day. We went to church and then grocery shopping. I really really dislike grocery shopping but we are done for another week :]
I am not sore from my run yesterday. I was expecting it because after my last two 5ks I was pretty sore. It is a nice surprise:] I just did Yoga Meltdown with Jillian for the first time. It was a nice work out. It is not really Yoga but I really enjoyed and will keep it in rotation. It is very fast paced but that is how Jillian’s workouts are. I would expect her Yoga to be the same way.
My eats are as follows:
I ended up being right around where I should be maybe a little under but that will happen.
I am not ready for Monday. Ugh.

I did pretty good. Yesterday. I did my Yoga but my calories only netted 1450. I am gonna try to get them higher today.
A 2 mile run plus some Yoga on tap for tonight.
